Terms and Conditions

1. Capitec Promotion:

    

   • The Capitec promotional rate is R3,000 for two people.

   • To qualify, clients must provide a valid C-reference number from their Capitec app in the booking form on our website.

   • Once the payment is received and verified, Star Balloons will issue booking vouchers confirming your flight.

   • This promotion is exclusive to Capitec clients and cannot be combined with other offers.

   ​

2. Standard Payment:

    

   • Standard rates are R6,500 for two people, payable via EFT.

   • Payments for children: R500 for ages 5 and above; R200 for children under 5.

   • A minimum of two passengers is required per flight.

1. Payment Verification:

    

   • Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received and verified.

   • Star Balloons reserves the right to cancel unverified bookings.​

 

2. Cancellation and Refunds

1. Customer Cancellation:

    

   • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled flight will receive a full refund.

   • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the flight may not be eligible for a refund, at Harties Air Adventures' discretion.

1. Weather or Safety-Related Cancellation:

   ​

   • Hot air balloon flights are weather-dependent.

   • If Harties Air Adventures cancels a flight due to unsafe weather conditions, clients may reschedule for the next available date or receive a full refund.

   • Harties Air Adventures is not responsible for travel costs, accommodation, or other expenses incurred due to weather cancellations.

3. Health and Safety

• Guests must be in reasonable physical condition to participate.

• Pregnant guests or individuals with serious medical conditions should consult a doctor before booking.

• Children under 5 may fly but must be accompanied by an adult.

• Guests must follow the pilot’s instructions at all times to ensure a safe flight.

• Harties Air Adventures reserves the right to deny boarding to anyone deemed unsafe for flight.​

 

4. Liability

• Harties Air Adventures and its employees are not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property during the flight, except in cases of proven negligence.

• Guests participate at their own risk.

• Harties Air Adventures carries insurance as required by South African aviation regulations.​

 

5. Photography and Media​

​

• Guests may take photos during the flight.

• Harties Air Adventures may use photos or videos taken during the experience for promotional purposes.

6. Changes to Terms​

​

• Harties Air Adventures reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time.

• Any changes will be communicated via our website or email to affected clients.​
